Leaf Me Alone…

November 10th, 2009 by Nanette

Ginkgo leavesAnother day in my “Make Art Everyday” challenge. Today, I opted to try a technique explained in “Embellishing with Anything” by Gladys Love. This book is quite cool and packed with tons of tricks to embellish…well…anything.

For my challenge “art,” I thread-painted some ginkgo leaves on water-soluble stabilizer. Once I rinsed away the stabilizer, I was left with very cool thread applique pieces.

Fun!
